LOOKING FOR A LIVE EDGE SLAB - WE CAN HELP.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you sell only slabs or also finished products?
Our focus is to salvage the San Francisco urban trees that our Arborist division removes for various reasons, thus sell the slabs to local and nationwide woodworkers and artists. However, we also craft custom pieces at our woodshop in Brisbane, CA.
Q: Will you mill my log and finish my slab?
Yes, we do offer those services. We will be happy to provide a quote and timeline for your project. Please see disclaimer for more information.
Q: What are the shipping conditions?
We will deliver ourselves in the San Francisco Bay Area if requested. We use carriers for farther destinations. We will quote the delivery cost at the time of purchase.
Q: Are these pictures actual slab(s) I will receive, or just similar?
The picture you see with this listing are the pictures of the exact slab you will receive. Each item is listed as one of a kind products that can only be sold once. See the ‘Description’ tab for more details regarding this item.
Q: How do the slabs come if I don’t select any finishing options?
Our slabs come raw from our sawmill if you do not select any finish. We offer surfacing (on one or both sides), sanding and finishing. Please contact us for pricing.
Q: Can you custom cut this slab to my dimensions?
Absolutely! We have a full shop that can custom cut any of the slabs. If you have any drawings or sketches of your design, you can always send those directly to email@example.com to discuss your project with one of our craftsmen.
Q: I see I can add epoxy to my order. What do you offer, and how do I specify what I want?
We do offer epoxy fill services on any slabs that is being fully finished by us. This is a popular choice for river table slabs, or any slab that may have some large voids or cracks. We have many different shades in blue, gold, copper, black, white, red, purple, and many more to choose from! If you would like to add this to your order, please add a note in the notes section when you go to checkout. From there, someone from our team will contact you with a quote to discuss your design details.
Q: What are the shipping methods?
Generally, slabs, custom furniture pieces and products over 100lbs will be sent via freight. Smaller products will normally be sent via parcel ground shipping. We are not responsible for any shipping carrier delays or damages.
